Paul Coulter is Head of Ministry Operations with Living Leadership, an organisation that helps leaders and their families across the UK and Ireland through training, mentoring and pastoral support. He is also Executive Director of the Centre for Christianity in Society, speaking and training in ethical issues and apologetics.
Eric L. Johnson is professor of Christian Psychology at Houston Baptist University. He taught psychology for 10 years at University of Northwestern and counseling for 17 years at Southern Baptist Theological Seminary. He was the first director of the Society for Christian Psychology and has been doing pastoral counseling for 20 years. Here he answers questions related to his talk ""A Christian Understanding of Sex and Gender,"" given at the 2022 European Leadership Forum.

Paul Coulter lives in Lisburn, Northern Ireland, with his Chinese Malaysian wife, Gar-Ling, and their two teenage children. A medic and cross-cultural pastor by background, he is now Head of Ministry Operations with Living Leadership (www.livingleadership.org), an organisation helping leaders and their families across the UK and Ireland live joyfully in Christ and serve Him faithfully. He is also Executive Director of the Centre for Christianity in Society (www.christianityinsociety.org), which seeks to connect Christ with issues and needs in contemporary culture. He speaks and writes regularly on leadership, pastoral care, ethics and apologetics. In his spare time, he loves to walk in hills and forests, cycle on flat roads, and read about history.
Eric L. Johnson is professor of Christian Psychology at Houston Baptist University, serving in the Gideon Institute of Christian Psychology & Counseling. He taught psychology for 10 years at University of Northwestern and counseling for 17 years at Southern Baptist Theological Seminary. In addition to writing more than 50 articles in peer-reviewed journals, he edited Psychology and Christianity: Five Views, and was a co-editor of Marriage: Its Foundation, Theology, and Mission in a Changing World. He has written Foundations for Soul Care: A Christian Psychology Proposal and God and Soul Care: The Therapeutic Resources of the Christian Faith. He was the first director of the Society for Christian Psychology and has been doing pastoral counseling for 20 years. He’s married to Rebekah, and they have two children, Laura and Iain, and a son-in-law, Rich. They have two grandchildren, Cash and Jedi.
