Solitude is a time to be with God, free from the distractions the world offers us at seemingly every moment. All over the New Testament we see examples of Jesus going off on His own to a solitary place to be with His Father to pray. Solitude allows us to look inward and reflect and renew our spiritual walk with Christ.
