How 2025 Broke Me Down to Build Me Up (My Honest Testimony)

Welcome back to Living Purified. If I had to name this past year, I would call 2025 The Year of the Foundation. This was the year God stripped away everything I thought defined me—my career, my physical health, and even my legal identity—to show me that my foundation is built on Him alone.
I started this year in the dark. In January, I was hit with identity theft while being physically unable to get out of bed due to a neck injury. I felt lost, inconsistent, and trapped in a body I didn't recognize. But it was in that "bedridden" season that God began to do His deepest work.
In this 2025 Recap, I’m opening up about the journey:
The Identity Shift: Navigating the trauma of identity theft and an unexpected lawsuit, all while learning to stop letting others dictate my worth.
The Miracle in the Waiting: How I saw God provide financially before I could even work, and the miraculous healing of my hand at a marriage conference while insurance was still pending.
The Body Image Battle: Dealing with numbness and physical limitations, and learning to thank my body instead of criticizing it for its condition.
The Creative Release: Embracing the "Done is Better Than Perfect" mindset. I realized I still have more left to do, even in this condition, and I’m finally getting back to creating.
The Peace of Boundaries: Investing in therapy, joining a pain support group, and realizing that turning off my phone is an act of worship.
2025 tested me, broke me down, and challenged my gut instincts. But it also taught me to stay humble, say I’m sorry, and enjoy the small moments in nature. I’m ending the year stronger—not just physically, but spiritually.
