Your Daily Verse 1 Corinthians 15:33
"Do not be misled: 'Bad company corrupts good character.'" 1 Corinthians 15:33
Dear Lord,
You see what I cannot—hearts, intentions, and influences. I often want to believe the best in others, but Your Word reminds me: influence matters. The people I surround myself with are shaping my thoughts, choices, and values—whether I realize it or not.
Tonight, I come to You asking for discernment. Help me examine my relationships with honesty and humility.
Show me if I’ve allowed voices into my life that are quietly drawing me away from You.
Help me choose friends, mentors, and community that point me back to Your truth.
I confess that sometimes I stay in unhealthy circles because I fear being alone. But I trust You to bring godly relationships into my life—ones that sharpen, encourage, and challenge me in righteousness.
Help me to be that kind of friend too—one who uplifts, speaks truth in love, and honors You in word and deed.
Lord, protect my character.
Help me guard the spiritual ground we’ve covered together.
Let Your Spirit lead me in love, courage, and wisdom.
In Jesus’ name,
Amen.
