A Prayer to complete the given tasks<br />
<br />
We often struggle to complete the tasks at hand. <br />
Sometimes we are unable to concentrate and are distracted. <br />
This takes a toll on our health too, and we end up feeling hopeless and helpless. <br />
We lose our energy and find it difficult to start and finish even the simplest task. <br />
At times like these, take a deep breath, take a break and seek help and encouragement from the Almighty God. <br />
<br />
Let us pray:<br />
<br />
Heavenly Father, You are filled with wisdom, power, and strength.<br />
Almighty God, nothing is too difficult for You.<br />
I praise You for being faithful, all-powerful, and all-wise.<br />
Your eternal purposes are beyond my understanding, but I trust You as You unfold them here on earth.<br />
Heavenly Father, I bring before you the concerns about the tasks I have been handed over, and need to finish.<br />
<br />
Sovereign Lord, be with me now, for I am so exhausted. <br />
I am unable to concentrate on the tasks which are at hand.<br />
Everything seems so tedious, and I have such a hard time investing myself in my work.<br />
I am falling behind, and I know it is because I am distracted. <br />
I cannot focus on my work at hand, and I have become preoccupied with petty and unproductive things.<br />
<br />
Father in heaven, I humbly stand before You today in Your omnipotent presence to ask that You grant me strength.<br />
I want You to give me the strength to power through all of the tasks today — whether little or big.<br />
Give me strength, Loving Father, to overcome these negative feelings, and to complete all the tasks that I have to do, efficiently, effectively and on time.<br />
Vanquish all things from my purview that distract me and compete for my attention. <br />
Instead, allow me to focus solely on the task at hand.<br />
Give me the mental stamina and energy I need to stay sharp and focus on completing my tasks.<br />
When I am tempted to give up, help me to keep going. <br />
Grant me a cheerful spirit when things don't go my way. <br />
And give me the courage to do whatever needs to be done.<br />
Guide me, calm my spirit and my mind, give me peace, as I recollect all the tasks that I need to complete.<br />
May I perform each task I encounter to the best of my ability.<br />
Help me be a person of integrity in all that I say and do. <br />
Guide me on how to handle the challenges that come my way.<br />
I want You to be my Rock and my Fortress and protect me from all challenges that I might face today.<br />
Fill me with your peace that surpasses all understanding. <br />
I depend on your grace throughout the day as I go about doing my duties.<br />
Please help me to remember to seek you for guidance, strength, and restoration whenever I feel tired and frustrated.<br />
<br />
I make this prayer through Christ our Lord.<br />
Amen.<br />
