Paul was called to evangelize. He was to bring the Gospel before Gentiles and Kings. Paul passionately followed through, so being told to NOT preach in a specific territory was not a normal and likely not an expected command to have to follow.<br />

In a recent podcast we observed that the Asia that was “forbidden” to Paul was the Roman Province of Asia Minor and not the large continent of Asia. This Province would become extremely prominent within Christianity and within Paul’s influence. So, why was he forbidden to preach?<br />
<br />
Paul obeyed this command and journeyed north through Asia and proposed to continue north into Bithynia and evangelize. He was again forbidden to go there and preach. Now wait a minute. What’s happening here?<br />
