Cults - Control with Fear

Whether you’re a Christian seeking to grow deeper in your faith or part of a group like Mormonism, Jehovah’s Witnesses, or Seventh-Day Adventism, please know this: God’s love for you is not something you need to earn. 🙏🏾

These groups often teach that works, like door-to-door evangelism, are needed for salvation, often leading to fear, anxiety, and the burden of feeling like you’re never enough.

But the truth of the Gospel is this: Jesus already did the work for us. Through His sacrifice on the cross, we are saved by grace through faith, not by our own efforts (Ephesians 2:8-9). Salvation is a gift, not a reward for performance.

If you’re in a place where fear has been a part of your faith journey, I want you to hear this: Jesus invites you into freedom, not fear (Matthew 11:28).

To my brothers and sisters in these groups, this message is not meant to condemn but to invite. I encourage you to explore the true Gospel message of grace. Seek out a church that teaches the love and freedom found in Christ—one that aligns with the Bible’s teachings about the Trinity and the finished work of Jesus.

You are deeply loved by God, not because of what you do, but because of who He is. Praying for you as you take steps toward His peace and truth. ❤️
